About my work

Photography, for many years, had been my ‘secret garden’ — the work that filled much of my time outside of my day job as a working journalist for 36 years. Now that I'm retired it is leading me into new and exciting explorations. My photographs represent assignments from within and were undertaken with the freedom that comes from working without a deadline on projects that flowed from my interest in the world around me: people and their relationships with each other and the environment, as well as nature in all its diversity and beauty.
